A team of fundraisers is training to climb the world's tallest climbing wall.
Some have had no experience climbing. Zero.
Towering 16 stories above the Reno Arch, fear and fatigue will set in.
Feline Rescue does amazing work, not only caring for abandoned cats that are blind, lame, diabetic, geriatric and have other highly special needs, they help in homeless situations and with the elderly. Other local animal welfare agencies turn to FRoNN. They have a spay/neuter voucher program that helps keeps cats off the streets. FRoNN has litter and food programs to the qualified and if you adopt one of their special needs cats the support package is unparalleled. A win/win for our community. Please give generously to this important resource so they can continue their work that benefits the great Reno Community at large!
So far we are a team of five.
Leading the A-team who will climb the 164' wall is experienced climber Rob Gorder. Sonja Mills
has started to train Billy Howard
who has now made his first and only climb of 20'. Only 140' more to go!
Rob's son, Robby Gorder
, 14, is training for the climb and we'll be joined by Danielle Mayabb
You, too, may join us!
A high school team is in the works and others who would like to fundraise on a smaller climb are welcome.
Reply to this email or contact us on our Climbing for Kitties website
