The second update on progress towards hitting our crowdfunding target and getting 'Mouse' made!

We're on our way!

Hello all, some early adopters and some of you new to Mouse! Thank you all so much for your interest so far. We have had a good start to the new year after an understandable Christmas lull and recently uploaded our 2nd Crowdfunding video. You can watch it here

We have auditions lined up for the main part of 'Anderson' on the 27th January and first drafts of our limited edition posters being drawn up as we speak! It has been a very busy week with a ton of new followers and we have just a couple of little requests for you, our favourite people in the whole world!

Number 1) We would love to see all of our backers on our facebook page! You can find us at www.facebook.com/mouseshortfilm - Liking us here is a great way to show your support and keep up to date on the goings on in 'Mouse Towers' (The imaginary building we like to believe we work from).

Number 2) If any of you are on twitter, we would really love you to send us your twitter ID's so we can connect with you on there!

You will find we have added a couple of things to the crowdfunding page, a few images of Simon C Page's graphic design work, to get people excited about the Mouse poster, as well as a little image of the 1938, Vinyl copy of our main theme 'The Flat Foot Floogie' - Nat Gonella and his Georgians, which appears in the film and is available as one of the most exclusive perks!

Please also keep sharing the project with everybody. Every single penny we receive goes into the walls of the set, the props, time with our cast and crew as well as the promotional materials that will take this short film worldwide when complete!

Remember, you are now part of an excellent short film project and we cannot tell you how thankful we are for all of your support! A date for your diaries, shooting is scheduled to begin on April 9th. Things are really moving fast and we get more and more support every day!

Thanks again,

Justin

P.S. Mot sure what to write in an email to people you think might be interested in helping out 'Mouse'? Add the link www.sponsume.com/project/mouse and this pitch:

Mouse is about Anderson, a man who wakes in a building with no idea where he is or how he got there, before slowly discovering that in each of the rooms around him are a thousand clones of himself, all of whom woke into the same mysterious scenario.

To escape he needs to outwit his 'selves' whilst overcoming the realisation that he is not the only Anderson...

Crowdfunding Pitch Online

So, after our teaser drew in a very healthy start to the funding, last week we launched our first proper pitch video.

This gives a direct sale of the high concept story and a nice little section highlighting the team we are beginning to assemble.

Take a look here

Last week Mouse was also listed as one of the 6 projects to watch in 2012 by our Crowdfunding hosts 'Sponsume'. They have a huge number of projects in their catalogue so this was a great honour.

Welcome, Daniel Southgate

The talented Daniel Southgate offered his services shortly after the start of our crowdfunding campaign and brings with him a wealth of experience in CGI working in Advertising and Film, with spots in 'Sex and the City' and the Cohen Brother's 'Burn after Reading' from a career in England, Ireland and New York. We're not jealous at all, honest...

Welcome Daniel, we are very, very happy to have you on board! Have a look at our new crowdfunding video (left) where there are some snippets of Dan's work.
